Traditional Birthday Party Package
Pricing:
$400 for Members
$450 for Non-Members
Offered select weekends at 10:00 -11:30 AM and 1:00 – 2:30 PM
What the package includes:
- 1 ½ hours of a private room in our Milne Ocean Science and Conservation Center.
- A private touch tank of live sea creatures for your guests to experience.
- Ocean-themed crafts and games.
- A personalized ocean-themed birthday cake, decorative tableware, and utensils.
- A fun party favor for each child.
- Up to 30 people can attend. (Max capacity of 30 people includes all adults and children)
- OPTIONAL: For an additional cost you can order pizza for your party through our Saltwater Café.
- OPTIONAL: For an additional cost you or your guests can purchase discounted admission tickets for the main Aquarium.

Dino-Seas Birthday Party Package
Pricing:
$1,000 for Members
$1,250 for Non-Members

What the package includes:
- 2 ½ hours of a private room in our Milne Ocean Science and Conservation Center.
- 30 minutes in Dino-Seas for your group to explore and play.
- Guided Tour of outdoor exhibits.
- Reptile Meet & Greet for your group.
- A private touch tank of live sea creatures for your guests to experience.
- Ocean themed crafts and games.
- A personalized ocean-themed birthday cake, decorative tableware, and utensils.
- A fun party favor for each child.
- Up to 50 people can attend. (Max capacity of 50 people includes all adults and children)
- OPTIONAL: For an additional cost you can order pizza for your party through our Saltwater Café.
- OPTIONAL: For an additional cost you or your guests can purchase discounted admission tickets for the main Aquarium.

Sea Lion Birthday Party Package
Pricing:
$1,500 for Members
$1,750 for Non-Members
Offered select weekends from 1:00 PM -3:30 PM
What the package includes:
- 2 ½ hours of a private room in our Milne Ocean Science and Conservation Center.
- 30-minute Sea Lion Training Session in the Marine Theater with an up-close experience with one of our trainers and California Sea Lions.
- Guided Tour of outdoor exhibits.
- A private touch tank of live sea creatures for your guests to experience.
- Ocean-themed crafts and games.
- A personalized ocean-themed birthday cake, decorative tableware, and utensils.
- A fun party favor for each child.
- Up to 50 people can attend. (Max capacity of 50 people includes all adults and children)
- OPTIONAL: For an additional cost you can order pizza for your party through our Saltwater Café.
- OPTIONAL: For an additional cost you or your guests can purchase discounted admission tickets for the main Aquarium.
*Aquarium admission tickets are not included with the birthday party package. Discounted tickets ($20/child, $25/adult) can be purchased up to 72 hours before the birthday party.
A minimum of three weeks advance notice and payment in full is required at the time of the reservation.

Cancellation Policy
All parties are 75% refundable if they are canceled at least 4 weeks prior to the event date. A non-refundable fee equal to 25% of the birthday fee will not be returned. A cancellation request made with less than 4 weeks’ notice will not receive a refund.
Birthday Party FAQ's
Is admission included with the birthday party package?
Admission is NOT included with the birthday party package. We do offer the option to purchase discounted admission tickets at $20 per child and $25 per adult. These must be reserved over the phone with a card at least 72 hours before the birthday party by calling 860-572-5955 ext. 431.
Does everyone attending the birthday party need to purchase admission tickets?
No, the birthday party takes place in our Milne Ocean Science and Conservation Center, which is a separate building from the main Aquarium. Admission is only required if anyone would like to go into the main Aquarium after the party.
Is more information sent after purchasing a birthday party package?
Yes! We will email more information to the email associated with your order after you have purchased the party package.
Does the maximum capacity for the birthday party package include adults and children?
Yes, all adults and children attending the party, including infants, count towards our maximum capacities.
Can I bring food to the birthday party?
Unfortunately, we do not allow outside food in the Aquarium so you would not be able to bring your own food. Please contact the Education department if you have someone attending the party with allergies or dietary restrictions by calling 860-572-5955 ext. 431 or emailing educationinfo@mysticaquarium.org.
How can I order pizza for my birthday party?
We offer the option to purchase pizza through our Saltwater Café for your birthday party for an additional cost. Instructions for ordering pizza will be sent in your confirmation email once the party package has been purchased.
Is an encounter program included with the party package?

Can I bring balloons to the birthday party?
We are a balloon and straw-free campus so please do NOT bring any balloons to your birthday party.
How many adults need to attend the party?
We require that a minimum of 2 adults attend every party regardless of the number of children attending and that there is at least 1 adult for every 10 kids attending.
Do I need to bring any utensils, plates, napkins, drinks, cups, or candles to the party?
Utensils, napkins, plates, cups, candles, and some drinks are provided and included with the birthday party package.
