Downtown Mystic Onesie Takeover!
To kick off Freezin' for a Reason, we're celebrating with a Downtown Mystic Onesie Takeover on Saturday, February 21 from 1pm to 6pm!
Dress in your favorite onesie and hit the streets of downtown Mystic for a day of shopping, dining, and mingling! Participating shops and restaurants will be raising funds to support our Animal Rescue Team.
Even better? Every time you make a purchase at a participating shop or restaurant in your onesie, you’ll be entered for a chance to win giveaways.
The more you shop and dine in your onesie, the more chances you have to win!
It’s going to be a onesie, one-of-a-kind day to have fun, support local businesses, and help save marine animals in need.
Feastin' For A Reason Restaurant Celebration
February 21, 2026 – March 28, 2026. During this 5-week event, local restaurants will be offering specials to benefit our Animal Rescue Program! Celebrate with a special dish, app, or drink and help marine animals in need–what a delicious way to give back.

The Freezin’ for a Reason Polar Plunge will be Saturday, March 28 at Misquamicut Beach and Windjammer Surf Bar.
We’ll brave the cold ocean water together as we raise funds for Mystic Aquarium's Animal Rescue Team!
Whether you take the plunge solo or as part of a team, this is your chance to make a big splash and help marine animals in need.
We promise it’s worth every chilly second!
