BeluYOGA
Time to perfect the dolphin pose because whales will be watching! During BeluYOGA, a local yoga instructor will guide the class through a session benefiting everyone both physically and mentally, just like a beluga training session! The Arctic Coast underwater viewing area will provide the perfect backdrop to find inner peace and stretch out during the yoga class.
All classes will take place Tuesday mornings from 7:30-8:30 AM on the following dates:
August 29th
September 5th
September 12th
September 19th
September 26th
October 3rd
BeluYOGA does not include admission into the aquarium and occurs before operating hours. Participants must bring their own yoga mats and water bottles to the class.
Yoga Teachers:

Charlotte Kading graduated from Blissworks Yoga Studio's 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program in 2019, and also received Trauma-Informed and Restorative Yoga Teacher certificates in 2022 and 2023. She has taught at several different yoga studios around New London County, and currently teaches weekly classes at Blissworks Yoga Studio and at the Sub Base in Groton.
Charlotte especially loves to teach Restorative Yoga, which is a slow, gentle practice, accessible to people of all ability levels, that encourages deep inner healing through stillness in the poses, conscious relaxation, and mindfulness.
Chelsea Hauck - Bluebird Yoga (style: Physio-Yoga) 5th, 19th, 3rd
Chelsea (ERYT-200hr) is the owner of Bluebird Yoga, a mobile yoga studio, specializing in Physiyoga. Physiyoga is a mindful movement practice that incorporates neuroscience and physical therapy into a traditional yoga asana practice. Participants can expect a gentle yoga flow with space to explore and play with the movement that feels good to them. At the end of class, participants will leave feeling connected and light.
