Plan-Ahead Pricing Frequently Asked Questions

Mystic Aquarium is pleased to introduce Plan-Ahead Pricing to give our guests the opportunity to plan a visit for a day that best accommodates their budget and schedule. 

Ticket prices are determined based on a number of key factors including day of the week, holidays, local events and expected attendance, developed as a result of extensive research with the help of expert economists. 

Tickets purchased by at least midnight the day before your visit date will always be less expensive than tickets purchased on the date of your visit. The further in advance you purchase, the more likely you are to save.

Enjoy the Aquarium’s indoor and outdoor exhibits for a fun, educational and inspiring experience that also includes multiple interactive experiences like shark touch experience, the ray touch pool and others.

Plan-Ahead Pricing is applicable to General Admission and Value Ticket categories. It does not apply to the Mystic Pass or other events (e.g. Fintastic Family Events or Aquarium After Dark).

Yes, tickets can be purchased on your electronic device.

The current price listed online will always be the most affordable option for the SELECTED date. It is possible that the price may increase or decrease over time. 

Tickets for OTHER dates may be more affordable.

The ticket is valid for the date printed on the ticket.

If you cannot visit on the date listed on your ticket, your ticket may be exchanged for an alternative date. Simply visit any of the main gate admission windows and pay the difference, if applicable. Guests will be required to pay the difference in pricing depending on the date of the actual visit. 

Tickets purchased before the launch of Plan-Ahead Pricing will be accepted up to one year after the date of purchase. 

No, membership rates will remain at the annual rate.

Plan-Ahead Pricing is NOT applicable for the Mystic Pass.
