Giving back has never been easier! Join us in our Family Volunteer programs as we spend time exploring local ecosystems and the animals that call them home, restoring habitats, cleaning our coastlines and more! We would love to see you all at one of our upcoming programs.
Horseshoe Crab Walk
Head to the beach and witness these “living fossils” gather during our nighttime Family horseshoe Crab Watch. You can also help aquarium and nature center staff count the animals and learn about the role they play in our local ecosystem. Be prepared to get wet feet and hike between 3-4 miles on along the beach. Advanced registration is required.

Coastal Cleanup Crew
Removing marine debris from the coastline is the first step we can all take in protecting marine mammals, fish and birds in our local waters. Email educationinfo@mysticaquarium.org to get email updates from the Animal Rescue and Conservation teams on our scheduled and pop-up cleanups along the CT and RI coastlines.
