Open to students from K-9
Sessions take place one Wednesday each month on March 23, April 27, May 25, and June 15*.

*Please note: the Coastal Field Studies day on June 15, 2022, has a different location and time; details are below.
Mystic Aquarium is offering a monthly Home School series with classes designed for Kindergartners through ninth graders! The Spring 2022 session runs from March to June, and will include content focused on Long Island Sound, Penguins, Animal Communication, and Coastal Field Studies*, with both in class and around campus experiences. Each class is tailored to specific grade and age ranges; please register your student for the most socially and academically appropriate range.
As in previous years, the program fee does not include aquarium admission. Non-member participants will be required to pay regular admission rates to enter the aquarium before or after the class; all tickets must be purchased online in advance. All programs occur in the Milne Center for Ocean Conservation*, with pick up and drop off occurring at the front door of the Milne Center. With safety in mind, all participants are required to wear masks when indoors and outdoors regardless of vaccination status and complete a symptom evaluation upon program check-in. Please check our website for our most up to date Covid-19 protocols.
Classes sold as a 4-part series. Please note – your ticket will only include the date of the first program but will be valid for all four dates. Class times are:

*Please note, the Coastal Field Studies class on June 15, 2022 will be a field class held at Bluff Point State Park, Groton, CT. This will be a 90 minute class held at two times: The 9-10 AM K-3 students and Grades 4-6 will occur from 9:00-10:30 AM. The 1:30-2:30 PM K-3 students and Grades 7-9 will occur 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Parents are required to stay at Bluff Point for the duration of this class.
Per class there is a 15 child maximum and a 6 child minimum.
Classes cannot be sold separately. Registration for classes will close on March 16, 2021.
