Description

In this hands-on workshop, follow Dr. Robert Ballard and a team of scientists as they return to the wreck of the RMS Titanic to determine how much the ship has deteriorated since its initial discovery in 1985. Science topics covered include scale drawings, buoyancy, model-building, weathering, composite images, remotely operated vehicles, latitude and longitude, coordinate grids, communication technology, radio waves, conservation and careers.

Fee: $175.00*
Credit: 0.5 CEUs provided

* Workshop fee includes working lunch, a Return to Titanic multimedia package and additional educator resources.
