Join us for an evening at Mystic Aquarium for families with children on the autism spectrum and with sensory processing disorders on August 19, 2014 between 6:45-8:45pm hosted by Mystic Aquarium, Sensations Charitable Foundation and Autism Speaks.
This evening event is free to attend for families or groups with children on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorders. The evening event will feature quiet areas, visual supports, outdoor "free play" zone, supportive staff and access to select aquarium exhibits. The outdoor aquarium exhibits- beluga whales, seals and sea lions and the outdoor free play zone will be open from 6:45-8:30pm. The indoor exhibits including the main exhibit floor and the Ocean Exploration Center will be open from 6:45pm-8:45pm.
Cost: This evening is completely free. Please note that this free event is only for this evening. If you are interested in visiting Mystic Aquarium during regular daytime business hours regular aquarium admission rates will apply.
Please note the following exhibits will not be open: Sting Ray Touch Pool, Birds of the Outback, Penguin Exhibit, Marine Mammal Observatory and Foxwoods Marine Theater.
