Join Sea Research Foundation in our inaugural Golf Pro-Am Penguins and Pros on the Beach. We are partnering with the Travelers Championship, Connecticut's PGA Tour, to deliver a first class experience for all participants. The tournament will be held Wednesday, June 18 at the Misquamicut Club in Watch Hill, RI. Sponsoring teams will be paired with a PGA Tour Professional Golfer. Located in scenic Watch Hill, RI, the Misquamicut Club was opened in 1895 and is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the country. The course was originally designed by Willie Anderson and was redesigned in 1922 by Donald J. Ross. It is a par 69 course that plays to a maximum distance of 6,214 yards. The course rating is 70.3 and the slope rating is 125.
Your day will begin with an 8 a.m. registration and continental breakfast. Shotgun start is at 9:00 a.m, followed by a lunch reception, awards ceremony, door prizes, and more.
This event supports Mystic Aquarium's marine life, ocean conservation efforts and educational programming that reach thousands of children each year.
