Mystic Aquarium is kicking off Autism Awareness Month with Autism Speaks by hosting an Autism Friendly Day featuring amenities geared for families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders.
We will have a special early opening at 8:30am just for families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders to see exhibits and to get acclimated before we open to the public.
The following special amenities geared for families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders will be available from 9:30am to 1:30pm:
• A quiet room with Yogibo chairs
• An outdoor “free play” zone
• Supportive volunteers at hands-on exhibits
Click here for a flyer to receive one free general child admission with each full paid general adult admission for Mystic Aquarium's Autism Friendly Day. Admission for Mystic Aquarium members is free. Must be a family affected by autism to qualify for discount or activities. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Valid April 6, 2013 only.
When you visit Mystic Aquarium, if you have your admission ticket validated before you leave the aquarium you can use it to return for the next two consecutive days!
