Meet some new friends, both cool and creepy, during Mystic Aquarium’s Reptile Week Saturday, April 13 through Sunday, April 21. Experience Scales & Tails, a new, hands-on reptile encounter featuring baby alligators, bearded dragons, ball pythons, jeweled lacertas and more. Participants can chat with an educator, touch a reptile, hear fun facts and get their photo taken. Please note that participants for Scales & Tails must be at least 5 years of age to touch the reptiles.

Do you know the difference between crocodiles and alligators? Can you tell if an animal is a reptile or an amphibian? From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, Mystic Aquarium guests will learn all about these captivating critters during themed activities and demonstrations, including scavenger hunts, matching games and our spine-tingling bug buffet.
