Strut your stuff at Mystic Aquarium’s 7th Annual Penguin Run/Walk on October 19. Every step you take during the 5k run or two-mile walk helps benefit the endangered African penguin. Walk participants are welcome to bring strollers and dogs during this family-friendly event. To show our gratitude for your participation, all registrants receive free aquarium admission on race day and top fundraisers receive prizes!

The African penguin population has declined more than 60 percent since 2001 and faces extinction in the wild. In partnership with our South African partner, SANCCOB, Mystic Aquarium strives to protect the species through research, education and conservation efforts in Mystic and South Africa.
