Mystic Aquarium, Elm City Dance Collective and the New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) have partnered to bring a cutting edge contemporary dance piece depicting the amazing aquatic life at Mystic Aquarium. Join us for this wonderful Aquatic Dance Festival on May 14 and 15 from 10:30AM to 3:30PM.

Activities will take place in a tent located in front of the aquarium.

10:30AM-11:15AM  NHSO Instrument Discovery Zone

Children can enjoy this hands-on experience with a variety of musical instruments.

11:30AM-12:30PM  Brien Engel Glass Harp Performance

Brien Engel’s glass harp consists of glasses of varying sizes and volumes of water producing different pitches when played.

1:30PM-2:30PM  Dance Performance

Elm City Dance Collective, accompanied by NHSO musicians, will artistically personify the amazing aquatic life at Mystic Aquarium in this world premiere performance.

2:30PM-3:30PM  Meet the Dancers Workshop

An hour of family fun with dance and movement.
