Category:
Immersion

Description

Tuesday, November 16 at 12:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. EST.

Immersion Learning and Mystic Aquarium, divisions of the Sea Research Foundation, invite you to participate in an exciting 30-minute live webcast with world-renowned ocean explorer Dr. Robert Ballard. Dr. Ballard, who has been on more than 100 ocean expeditions over the past 50 years, led an expedition this summer on the E/V Nautilus to explore ancient history and learn more about the ocean. Nautilus scientists mapped the sea floor, discovered tubeworms and other life forms, explored shipwrecks, and more. During the webcast, which will be geared toward  middle-school aged youth, you will hear about Ballard's work and career path and will have a chance to interact with him by voting in polls and asking questions.

Visit the Immersion website for more information and to register for this free webcast.
