Description

With The JASON Project now managed by Sea Research Foundation, and the continuing support of National Geographic Society, we are able to provide our members, fans and followers with exciting new ways for up-close involvement in scientific exploration and adventure. Virtual Assemblies are an innovative approach to putting you right where the action is, alongside those who make it happen.

What's it like to swim with great white sharks? How do they migrate, hunt, mate, and reproduce? How does a camera person get the best shot without risking life and limb?

Join a Virtual Assembly on Wednesday, October 27, at 10am, 1pm and 4pm at http://www.jason.org/science/live/great_migrations/welcome.aspx. National Geographic Channel Cinematographer Andy Casagrande is back from his field experiences during the Great Migrations program and is ready to answer your questions – live – from Sea World in Orlando. Before then, learn all about Andy and read up on the lives of great white sharks.

About Great Migrations
National Geographic Channel's Great Migrations is a seven-part global programming event, three years in the making, that takes viewers around the world on the arduous journeys millions of animals undertake to ensure the survival of their species. Coming this November to National Geographic Channel.
