21+ Penguin Party at Hard Rock Cafe Foxwoods

On Thursday, June 2 at 6 p.m., Hard Rock Cafe Foxwoods is hosting a 21+ Penguin Party with 100% of ticket sales directly benefiting Mystic Aquarium’s African penguin conservation efforts. The African penguin became endangered in 2010 and this event will feature several of Mystic Aquarium’s 30 resident African penguins for all to see.

Sea Research Foundation Launches New Website to Showcase Global Reach

Sea Research Foundation, Inc. launched a new website, www.searesearch.org, to showcase the organization’s global reach and provide a gateway to help users understand its leadership role in education, research and exploration. Based in Mystic, Connecticut, Sea Research is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that operates Mystic Aquarium, Institute for Exploration and Immersion Learning. In partnership with National Geographic Society, Sea Research also manages The JASON Project, an internationally acclaimed science program for students in classrooms, after-school and mentoring programs, and summer camps.

Aquatic Dance Festival Reveals the Wonders of Mystic Aquarium

The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO), Elm City Dance Collective (ECDC) and Mystic Aquarium have partnered to bring a cutting edge contemporary dance piece depicting the amazing aquatic life on land and in the sea. Join us for this wonderful Aquatic Dance Festival on May 14 and 15 from 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Mystic Aquarium.
