Mystic Aquarium

To beat this summer’s record-breaking heat, Sea Research Foundation’s Mystic Aquarium is hosting Dog Days of Summer every Monday in August. Mystic Aquarium trainers, police officers and professional dog trainers will deliver special training demonstrations throughout the day to exhibit their skills and the trusting relationships they form with animals.

Now through Sept. 2, Mystic Aquarium guests can get their fill of fun with African penguins, beluga whales and sea lions shows, and also fill up on a free lunch. Guests who purchase general admission or value tickets online get a free lunch at Penguins Café.

In honor of Independence Day and the military's service to our country, Mystic Aquarium welcomes military (active and retired) with free admission during July and August.

Sea Research Foundation’s Mystic Aquarium kicks off its inaugural Summer Drive-in Movie Series on June 28 with James Cameron’s “Titanic,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Complementing the success of the aquarium’s newest exhibit, Titanic – 12,450 Feet Below, “Titanic” will be shown on a 40 foot screen in the aquarium’s gravel parking lot on the corner of Coogan Blvd. and Jerry Brown Rd.
