MYSTIC, Conn. (April 29, 2009) – After only four weeks in Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration’s Seal Rescue Clinic, the seal rescued from a parking lot in Norwich on March 30 will be released back into the wild today at 11 a.m. at Blue Shutters Beach in Charlestown, R.I.

MYSTIC, Conn. (April 21, 2009) – Our feathered friends from down under are back to summer at Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration. “Birds of the Outback,” the only exhibit of its kind in New England, returns on May 2.

(March 24, 2009) – Thanks to ShopRite in New London, the fish and invertebrates at Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration are enjoying a diverse diet of fruit and vegetables at a significantly lower cost than last year. These savings are a result of a unique partnership recently formed between the aquarium and ShopRite that benefits both parties, as well as the animals and environment.
