If you have a passion for digital media production and mission-driven organizations, this is the internship for you! The Sea Research Foundation's Digital Media Group (DMG) seeks a motivated intern for the summer of 2011 to assist in the ongoing production efforts for our organization's three divisions: Mystic Aquarium, Institute for Exploration, and Immersion Learning. The DMG intern will assist the department's staff in all aspects of video, web and live event and game production projects.
Ideal candidates are pursuing a course of study or have existing skills in one or more of the following areas:
- Documentary filmmaking
- Videography
- Still photography
- Video editing
- Web development
- Graphic design
- Marketing
- Communications
Candidates sould have strong oral and written communications skills, be extremely creative, highly organized and have the ability to interact professionally with the public and SRF staff. A good sense of humor is also required.
Schedule is flexible. Applicants must be available a minimum of two days each week.
