There are many exceptional opportunities for corporate involvement at Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration.  With nearly 750,000 annual guests, we offer your organization an affordable means to reach a very large attentive audience.  On average, our guests visit the aquarium for two to three hours, insuring that your message is seen and heard by a multitude of visitors. 

Corporate Sponsorships include presenting sponsorships of our major exhibits, an assortment of print options as well as special events.  Let our Business Development department create a customized sponsorship package specifically designed to meet your budget and objectives. 

Since we are a non-profit organization, a portion of your sponsorship may be tax deductible.  We suggest you consult your tax advisor to discuss the benefits of your sponsorship in further detail.  You can be certain that we will do our best to ensure that your sponsorship provides your organization with a solid return on your investment.

Presenting Sponsor of a Major Exhibit

As the Presenting Sponsor of one of our main exhibits your organization will receive name recognition on all Exhibit signs, a banner above our main gates, our website, in print pieces referencing the exhibit, a specific number of family memberships for your staff and a specified number of animal contact programs that will allow you and your guests to come in contact with a beluga whale, penguin or ray.  Your year-round sponsorship will be guaranteed to be seen by all of our guests.  As a Presenting Sponsor, your business becomes a part of the experience here at Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration.

Ticket Back Sponsors

A fantastic means of delivering your company’s message to nearly 800,000 guests each year.  By placing a coupon on the back of our admission tickets you’ll be sure to drive store traffic while branding your company name & logo all year round.  Whether you are trying to reach the hundreds of thousands of local residents or the half-a-million out of town guests, Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration’s ticket backs are an excellent value.

Special Event Sponsorship

Take the opportunity to brand your company name and logo throughout the Southeastern Connecticut region by signing on as a presenting sponsor of one of our exciting annual special events.  As a presenting sponsor, you will receive marketing exposure in our print, radio and direct mail advertising campaigns as we promote the event to the community.  In addition, you will have on site recognition throughout the event, insuring your company’s name/logo is seen by all participants.  You can select a variety of special events including Seascare, a two day Halloween Festivity; Animal Rescue Kayak, a fun day of Kayaking at Groton Long Point, with all proceeds benefiting our Animal Rescue Clinic; Run/Walk for the Penguins, a 5K Road Race benefiting our Penguins; or Sea of Trees, our month long holiday celebration taking place throughout the December.  Special Event Sponsorship is a powerful way to create brand visibility with our guests.  Finally as the sponsor, you will receive brand recognition in all of our mailings to our members and donors related to these events.

On Campus Brand Exclusivity

Brand Exclusivity gives your organization a unique opportunity to present your message to our large attentive audience while assuring that your competition is locked out of advertising with us.  Typically reserved for food products or beverages, this special offer is sometimes extended to other branded items on campus.   Brand Exclusivity varies from client to client.  Negotiation of Brand Exclusivity is based upon the product category and the duration of promotion and comes at a financial premium well above a regular sponsorship investment.
