Conservation Programs

Jump into action and participate in one of our Family conservation programs!

 

Family Horseshoe Crab Walk

Head to the beach and witness these "living fossils" gather during our nighttime Family Horseshoe Crab Walk.  Be prepared to get your feet wet and hike a distance as you help Aquarium and Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center staff count the animals and learn about the role they play in our local ecosystem. 

Click here to register for the Full Moon walk on Saturday, June 22 from 6:30pm to 9:30 pm at Napatree Point  or the New Moon walk on Saturday, July 6, from 6:30pm-9:30pm at Bluff Point State Park. 

*Registration is required and cost is $5 per person

 

 

Youth Conservation Corps

Ages 14 to 17

Join an amazing and fun group of teenagers interested in marine science and environmental conservation in our community.   You will receive leadership training and learn about a wide range of issues related to marine environments and oceanographic exploration - all while having fun.  E-mail Maryellen at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
