AGES 9 to 12

Hey young scientist, looking for something to do around the July Fourth holiday? Spend two fun-filled days at the aquarium! Campers participate in weird science activities, explore exhibits behind the scenes, make a cool craft, find out about our “green” efforts and meet some “crabby” friends all while learning what makes the aquarium such an awesome place.

 Schedule: July 2 - 3, 8:30am - 4:00pm
               July 5 - 6, 8:30am - 4:00pm

Cost: Members: $175; Non-members: $200

Ages 9 to 12

Calling all animal lovers! Join us for a week-long adventure where campers learn about the fabulous animals who call the marine world home. Campers meet animal care trainers, take special behind-the-scenes tours, learn about the excitement of working at the aquarium and participate  in hands-on activities. Field trips, including one to a local habitat, and unique projects enhance this awesome animal exploration experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm
July 9-13, July 16-20, July 30-August 3, August 13-17, August 20-24

Cost: Members: $325; Non-members: $370

AGES 9 to 12

Back by popular demand! Join us once again for an incredible joint Mystic Aquarium/Mystic Seaport summer program. While at the aquarium, campers learn about fascinating animals and habitats of the Mystic River and Long Island Sound. Then campers travel to the Seaport for a daily sailing adventure. All told, campers will find sailing at Mystic Seaport and investigating animals at Mystic Aquarium an incredible, memorable experience! Campers must be able to swim. Please enroll for this adventure through the aquarium. There is no aftercare available for this program. Camper drop off will be at the Aquarium and pick up will be at the Seaport.

Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

                June 25-29, July 23-27

Cost:  Aquarium or Seaport Members:  $350; Non-members:  $400

Ages 9-12

The ocean is full of more than just animals! Join us for an eye-opening adventure as we investigate the Titanic and other sunken ships from the past, plus learn about how wercks are discovered and how they may have come to rest at the bottom of the ocean. Campers enjoy hands-on activities, meet terrific aquarium staff, interact with animals, work on a cool project, visit local habitats and much more!

Schedule:  Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

               August 6-10

Cost:  Members:  $325; Non-members: $370

Ages 11 to 13

In this riveting camp, your child explores the undersea world aboard Project Oceanology’s research vessel, visits a variety of marine coastal environments and sleeps overnight at Mystic Aquarium, co-sponsor of the camp. This weeklong overnight camp is held at the University of Rhode Island’s Environmental Education Center. Fee includes all meals, accommodations and research equipment.

Need help with hectic schedules? Extended day activities including crafts, games, and snacks are offered from 4:00pm-5:00pm.
