Evening for Families with Children on the Autism Spectrum

Join us for an evening event for families with children on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing challenges.

This evening event is completely free for families or groups with children on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing challenges.  This event features a quiet area, supportive staff, and access to select aquarium exhibits.

The outdoor aquarium exhibits- beluga whales, seals and sea lions will be open from 4:00pm-5:00pm.  It is necessary to close these areas at 5:00pm due to nightfall.  The indoor exhibits including the main exhibit gallery and the Exploration: Wild exhibit will be open from 4:00pm-7:00pm.

The following exhibits will not be open:  Penguin Pavilion, Sting Ray Touch, Foxwoods Marine Theater, 4-D Theater, National Geographic Theater.

This free event is only for this 4:00pm-7:00pm time period on December 17, 2017. If you are interested in visiting Mystic Aquarium before 4:00pm regular aquarium admission rates will apply.

Documentation of diagnosis is not required.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for each member of the party, ages 2 and above. You must present the confirmation of your registration by printed tickets, or on your phone, at the check-in table in order to enter the event.
