Conservation in Action: Weird but True

Mystic Aquarium invites you to join Dr. David Gruber for a fascinating look at biofluorescent marine animals. During the event, visit some of these amazing creatures in our new Weird & Wonderful exhibit.

The presentation details the discovery of biofluorescent sharks, sea turtles and other mysterious sea creatures. It also covers Dr. Gruber’s attempts to build a “shark-eye” camera, and to understand marine life from their perspective.
Dr. David Gruber is a National Geographic Emerging Explorer, marine biologist, coral reef expert, underwater photographer, submersible designer and Scientist-in-Residence with Mystic Aquarium.
