(November 3, 2017) –  It was a November morning like no other: Blue Shutters Beach welcomed a crowd of over 100 people who eagerly awaited the arrival of five harbor seal pups from Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Program. Mystic, Conn. (October 5, 2017) – Just a couple of weeks after a triple seal release, Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Program is at it again. Earlier this morning, Aquarium staff and volunteers released two harbor seal pups, Lavender and Bluebell, at Blue Shutters Beach in Charlestown, RI. Mystic, Conn. (September 29, 2017): Victoria, or Tori as she is better known at Mystic Aquarium, is on the mend after undergoing ophthalmic surgery to address a long-standing illness. Tori the harbor seal was admitted to Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Clinic in 2012 with several severe health issues. Mystic, Conn. (August 11, 2017): Over 950 guests joined Mystic Aquarium last evening for a sensory-friendly evening for children on the autism spectrum and their families. The event provided a unique opportunity for children to experience select aquarium exhibits with the help of a supportive staff.
