Mystic, Conn. (September 29, 2017): Victoria, or Tori as she is better known at Mystic Aquarium, is on the mend after undergoing ophthalmic surgery to address a long-standing illness. Tori the harbor seal was admitted to Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Clinic in 2012 with several severe health issues. (September 21, 2017) – Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Program was in full-bloom this morning as three rehabilitated Harbor seal pups were released in Charlestown, RI.  After receiving compassionate and specialized care from Mystic Aquarium’s animal care professionals, Aster, Azalea and Ivy were released to the open ocean. Mystic, Conn. (August 11, 2017): Over 950 guests joined Mystic Aquarium last evening for a sensory-friendly evening for children on the autism spectrum and their families. The event provided a unique opportunity for children to experience select aquarium exhibits with the help of a supportive staff. Mystic, Conn. (July 21, 2017): Thanks to the recent heat wave, state beaches have been the site of big crowds over the last few days.  A much smaller group; however, was found at Monahan’s Dock near Narragansett Beach this morning. Mystic, Conn. (June 27, 2017) –After nearly four months of rehabilitation in Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Clinic, Clover, a female Gray seal, was released at Blue Shutters Beach in Charlestown, RI this morning.
