Challenge of the Deep exhibit space is closed to bring you a new Titanic Exhibit – opening April 12, 2012 and other exciting changes to our Black Sea exhibit area.

What vast areas are inaccessible and locked in eternal darkness? The Challenge of the Deep exhibition is dedicated to revealing what lies on the deep ocean floors of the world.

Conceived by renowned deep-sea explorer and Institute for Exploration President Dr. Robert Ballard, the exhibit brings visitors on a voyage of discovery through cutting-edge technology. Dr. Ballard’s famous expeditions are showcased in this multi-media exhibit, which introduces guests to the foreign world of the deep ocean, the emerging science of deep-water archeology and recent discoveries.

Noah's Flood and Ancient Shipwrecks

See what was discovered in ancient Phoenician shipwrecks and in the search for evidence supporting the location of Noah’s Flood. The Black Sea Expedition and The Ashkelon Expedition are undergoing renovation and are closed.
