POSITION: Development Operations Coordinator
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Assistant Director of Development
EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Monday- Friday 8:30 – 5pm Exempt (Salaried) Non Exempt Hourly Full-Time
JOB SUMMARY: Demonstrate excellent representation of the aquarium at all times through a positive, can-do attitude and teamwork focused work ethic. Responsibilities are to provide administrative support to all fundraising and development functions, while maintaining donor database and processing all revenue. Provide support to the Development department to ensure team and organization success.
Minimum Job Requirements: Must be willing to consistently provide guest service above and beyond expectation. Degree (Bachelor's desired) with a minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing, development and/or office environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management. Knowledge of eTapestry strongly desired. Must be detailed-oriented with strong written, verbal and organizational skills. Ability to interact appropriately with all levels of personnel, visitors, donors and external contacts maintaining a professional demeanor. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks is essential. Schedule flexibility required to attend and assist with fundraising and events.
