Cocktails With the Whales

Mystic's new happy hour spot promises a "whale" of a good time! This summer, enjoy drinks, food and live music in the warm evening air at the Aquarium, where Ocean Blue Catering is hosting Cocktails with the Whales in front of the Arctic Coast exhibit, home to our three resident beluga whales. These monthly gatherings take place on May 21, June 25, July 16 and August 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Enjoy drink specials, including our signature "Belugatini," appetizers available for purchase and live music in front of the exhibit's three 20-foot underwater viewing windows. Members' Summer Picnic
Friday, July 17*

Join your fellow members from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm for a casual evening of fun, food and friends!  Enjoy music, activities for the kids and a picnic dinner.  Dinner includes your choice of hot dog, hamburger or veggie burger, potato salad, salad, chips, soda and a dessert.  Registration by July 1 is required. Members' Ice Cream Social

What's better on a hot August evening than an ice cream sundae?  This special evening has been reserved just for our members.  Enjoy an evening visit from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm without the summer crowds and with all the ingredients needed to build your own ice cream sundae!  Preregistration required.  Call our Reservations Department at 860.572.5955 ext. 520.  The price for this event is $6.00 per person, children under age 2 are free.  Cost includes admission and one ice cream ticket.  Dinner items will be available for purchase in the Penguins Cafe.  Interested in becoming a member? Ocean Commotion Gala 2009

Excitement is growing in anticipation of this year’s Ocean Commotion, our signature annual fundraiser, to support the important work of Sea Research Foundation. Ocean Commotion takes place on Saturday, September 26 and will include a red carpet reception, an elegant dinner, lively auction, and an after-party replete with dessert, cordials, a live band and room to dance.
