DANCING JELLYFISH
Ages 5 to 6
Jellyfish are found in every ocean, from the surface to the deep sea. Gracefully they move like a dancer rising and sinking to the music, gliding along with the waves and currents. Join us for this fun and interactive class to learn more about these mysterious creatures.

PACIFIC WHITE SIDED DOLPHINS: A FAMILY PROGRAM
Ages 7 to 9 + an adult
Pacific white sided dolphins are an energetic and active species that is frequently seen leaping, belly flopping, and somersaulting. They are strong fast swimmers that are beautifully marked with black, white and gray coloration. Come join us to learn more about this captivating species and view the four pacific white sided dolphins visiting from Shedd Aquarium.
Schedule: Saturday, February 7, 9:30am – 11:00am or Saturday, March 21, 1:30pm – 3:00pm

SQUID DISSECTION
Ages 9 to 11
Kids may not enjoy squid for dinner but in the lab, they will! Discover the amazing adaptations of the fastest, largest and most intelligent invertebrate in the sea by participating in a detailed dissection of our local species. A real hands on science experience!

BELUGA WHALES
Ages 9 to 11
Beluga may mean ‘white one’ in Russian but did you know that beluga calves are born dark grey? Come join us for this exciting and interactive program to find out more about these beautiful animals and get a close up view of the adult and juvenile whales visiting for a short time from Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium.
